She doesn't want to eat anything at all. I have tried everything, she won't even take formula. Our doctor said that she is malenourished. I am worried. She won't eat baby food. Doesn't like it and she nibbles on the food that I cook for her. Doctor gave us PediaSure, but you have to give it with food. Please help. Sorry for the misspelled words.

That is the problem she only has two teeth and chokes on anything that is too big. I have tried mashed potatoes, but she won't eat them.

My 11 month old grandson is the same. It is a fight to get anything in his mouth food wise. He will put loads of other stuff in though that he shouldn't!!!
I asked a similar question a few days ago so you can check under my profile, look at my questions and see the answers that I was given.
The main thing is that she is not taking even formula. Does she have a mouth infection? If she is desperately malnourished she should be in a hospital getting fluids and food intravenously. Take her to another Dr. if you are not satisfied. She cannot go on for long without some form of nourishment.

If she has a good amount of teeth already, she can eat pretty much anything you eat. I suggest giving her liquid vitamins (probably in her drink), that way you are assured she's getting the nutrients she needs without having to worry about her food intake. If she's not eating the things you eat, then try giving her toddler finger foods. Gerber has an awesome selection. Usually kids love to eat with their hands way before they even want to try a fork or spoon. Also try shaping her foods into little faces or something like that to make it a little more interesting to her. Kids sometimes model after their parents eating habits, so be sure she watches you eat also. Try pulling her highchair up to the table while you're eating so she feels part of the family (if you haven't already tried this). Make sure she gets a lot of liquids also.
I just read your edit and since she only has 2 teeth then the best things to give her would be finger foods like Cheerios. Check out Gerber's selection of finger foods. Those are made for babies with little or no teeth.

How long has it been since you've taken her to the pediatrician? Did they tell you when to call back if she hasn't eaten or taken the pediasure? Have you tried it with soft, bland foods like mashed potatoes? If it's been more than 2-3 days since your doctor visit and she's not showing signs of improvement, call your doctor back and see if it's time to hospitalize her. I know that you and her doctor want that to be a last resort, but there will be more options available at the hospital that you don't have at home.

Try giving her milk... she might like that more than formula, also try arrowroot cookies and ritz crackers. I have yet to met a baby who won't eat those. It won't help her with the malnourishment but it will get something in her stomach so that you can give her the multivitamin drops and pediasure. Also, try english muffin pizza... get your english muffin and put some pizza sauce on it, top it with cheese and pepperoni and bake for 8 minutes on 350... it's worth a try, good luck!

she should be on solids by now and can drink the homo milk. give her foods that she can eat herself, sometimes they will eat better with there hands then they will with you feeding them. Even if she will make a mess, who cares, she needs the food since she is malnurished. if you have a blender, blend up the stuff you are eating, give her a baby spoon and let her have atter..lol

You must be frustrated. Give her things that taste good and are high in fat content. That is hard to do with and 11 month old though.
Have you gone to a nutritionist yet, I would if she is malnourished!
