Women and men excel at different things and no one is better than anyone. Women who think that the whole female race is better than men are just about as bad as the men who have tried to keep women in the kitchen for centuries.

Impossible question to answer. It's like saying "Is a hammer better than a pencil?"
If you're trying to drive a nail into a wall, a pencil's just not gonna do the job.
If you're trying to take a math quiz, a hammer is not going to help you out a lot.
Women and men are different. Since they aren't the same, it's not like you can say "women are better" or "men are better".
They can be better at certain things. If you want to find someone who is good at birthing a baby, you probably want to steer clear of the guys and find yourself a woman.
On the other hand, if you want to find someone who can.............................................................
Oh wait, nothin comes to mind. :-D
Nevermind.
EDIT: This is the case with me, and most women I know. We will jokingly say that yes, women are far superior to men. However, it is in a JOKING sense. I'm married to an AWESOME guy, and because of some differences in our genders, we're able to really be there for one another and bring out each others strengths (and hopefully tame some of the weaknesses).

NO, I dont think women are better than men at all. I dont think anyone is better than anyone else. Some people can do some things better than other people can, but thats about it. And both sexes should learn from each other so the communication between both is good and aggreeable.

Vague much? Better at what? Better how? Could you possibly have come up with a broader and less specific word? Do you in fact understand that the word 'better' is utterly a subjective value judgement and is not an absolute? Try again. This time, use your brain a bit.

1: In which context are you referring to?
2: Better at what?
3: Are you meaning ALL women, in relation to ALL men?
Well, some of them 'might' be better at asking questions, though, I wouldn't put a bet on it.

The phrasing of the question was sure to draw a lot of skewed responses. Who doesn't want an opportunity to say, yes, we are better?
But is it true? Nah.
Use of superlatives in language is one of the fuels for the ongoing male/female debate. If we could agree that we each make valuable contributions, without one having to be better than the other, we might just get along better.

Despite their claims of equality and even superiority, they cannot compete in areas where men have no physical advantage. Why do we have womens snooker, darts, poker competitions? Why is there a literary prize for women writers? If women are better why can't they compete on a level field? They are a lot prettier than men, though.

as far as i see it, no gender is better than the other. both men and women have their faults in certain areas. we cannot be all perfect to the extent to which one is deemed superior. the battle of the sexes thing is so outdated, old fashioned and unneccessary, i couldn't be arsed to get into a slanging match
