My husband and I had a really great sex life in the beginning. He brought me to heights I had never known existed before. Problem is he is fat and very unattractive. Also, he has never really had much size in the hoo hoo department. That is why I cannot understand how I was able to achieve such a feeling with him. We had great foreplay and roleplaying, everything, but I just could not get around the fat thing.

Now we barely have sex and all he can bring up is that he is so great in bed. The last 6 years really haven't been that great anyway.

How can I get him to not show off so much as it is really turning me off.

I just want to add that he wooed me for a year before I could commit. Mainly because he was so big. I told him this in the beginning.
I had hoped that his promise to change would actually happen. He is sloppy, and gets mad if I try to ask him to care, he is loud and surley and I just don't think he cares about himself.
We have tried diets but he won't stay on them. He will go out and eat behind my back.
He did that with smoking too.
I do care but I would care more if he showed he cared in enough to better himself even alittl.e

If you've been married for that long you should be able to tell him that he needs to lose weight. Oh certainally not saying "Sex stinks because of your weight" but try saying that you're greatly concerned for his health. If worse comes to worse you can also add...."and I feel that at times it's affecting our sex life. I don't want you keeling over with a coronary in bed".
Other than that you, my dear, have a very delicate problem here to say the least. I guess if all else fails you can tell him the way you feel outright. Naturally employing abit more diplomacy than you did here. He may be stung by it initially but if he's smart and knows that you truly love him he'll shed the tonnage.
Oh...and if he gives you that stupid line "Well baby...with a tool like this it's only natural to have a shed over it to protect it" then kick him square in the groin.

good luck dear. Time to employ your best schmooze techniques.

He became used to knowing he satisfied you so well in the past. This was an ego boost to him. Many couples get hung up on looks and if all you married him for was the great sex at the beginning - you are doomed anyway. As far as his size in the hoo hoo department, you knew that when you married him too. Just remember one of these the tables might be turned and that tight body you may have pride in may start to sag or worse yet, you might find yourself going through chemo therapy with no hair. Seems you might not want him to look at you any different would you? Think about the important things here. Are you married for looks or love????

That's cute you say hoo hoo, I thought I was the only one that said that. When my husband was doing that just acting like he was hot s*** and the never ending arrogance was turning me off I tried talking to him a loving manner just letting him know what was up and that it was turning me off. When that didn't work I was nasty about it and kinda mean but he got the point and stopped acting like an a**. First try being nice and if that doesn't work tell him with out the sugar coded goodness

Well if he is all that, why did you marry him?Just tell him to stop trying to show off and do less showing off and more action. And if his weight is bothering you, help him by cooking less fatting meals and the fat will fall off in time not over nite.

Tell him what you just told us, it might hurt his feeling. But it will make him see that he needs to step his game up, & to stop talking it up.
