"Ram" was good, but I liked "Dark Horse" better. What do you think?

I think Paul had the most successful solo career...I mean, he's still going and going and going.

But my favorite Beatle is George, so if George only had one song released as solo, I would like it better than any of Paul's hundreds of solo releases.

Depends how you look at it. Paul has still remained the undisputably most popular Beatle with his face still being seen highly in the tabloids.

John is the most controversial and rivals McCartney in popularity. Come to think of it I really dont know who was more popular....John or Paul

but musically speaking Paul did great with Wings

George did awesomely on his own. Yesterday is the most popular song in the world not to mention all the other hit songs he composed like My Sweet Lord, Something and While My Guitar Gently Weeps among others

Ringo is OK

I would have to say George Harrison....AKA Dark Horse
He really made it on his own and was succesful at it. He is my favorite Beatle, a wonderful person and gifted composer. Much love to him.

Commercially, definitely Paul. And to be fair, he did a lot of good stuff as well as a lot of rubbish. Even if John had lived longer, Paul would still be out-selling him. Best solo song: "Band on the Run"

George's mysticism gets a little dull, but the " All things must pass " album has some truly great songs on it. Best solo song : "Wah-Wah"

John was John, and didnt really give a damn what anyone thought of him. His best stuff is wonderful...but he could be just as trite as Paul sometimes. Best solo song: "Cold Turkey"

Ringo ? "It dont come easy" was good... but thats it.

John Lennon is spoken of in reverential terms, possibly given that he died so young and suddenly.

Ringo went behind the scenes and did his own thing.

George went on to perform solo but not with the same commercial success as .....

Macca. I think everyone has to admit that since the Beatles, he's had the most commercial success of the four.

John had a great solo career; he was always the creative machine. he was super opinionated and rebellious, and he had so much to write about; his crazy, outcast wife, politics, Brian Epstein's desperate passes, his young family...

He had the best, Best had the worst, and yes, Dark Horse
is better.

It's a tough question because if John Lennon continued the level that he was creating music at, then he would win this with one hand behind his back.

But as the way things played out, it's definitely Paul. I personally enjoy Paul's music better but you gotta give credit to John where it's due.

Paul McCartney had/has the best solo career. I think John would have, but since he died early on in his solo days, he didn't have a chance.

Ringo without a doubt. He voiced Thomas the Tank engine. How can a career get better than that!?
