the deer come and eat all my flowers. i'm in a residential area so i can't just start shooting them- i'm sure somebody would call the cops. any other ways to get rid of 'em?

If you plant native plants and flowers in your yard, they will be less attractive to deer than the juicy flowers that you have now.

My brother collects human hair and puts it in old pantyhose all around his garden. It works great for him.
