It goes without saying that they will, season is almost over, and most of their game will be played at home where they've been almost perfect lately. Plus most of the teams that they have to play are not big cylinders. Everyone is contributing, more than 4 players’ average 10points plus per game since DWade is off, and I just do not see how they won't make the playoffs. In fact they are the runner-up for they division title right now. The real questions are if they will go far. I believe they have the potential to make it all the way but here are some key questions that need to be addressed primarily:
1- Will DWade return? I know he's trying but if he does, will he be in good shape to be able to carry them??? Time will tell.
2- Is Shaq able to carry or contribute sufficiently for the team on a consistent basis through out the playoffs? Yes, he is capable of outburst but we need a constant effort, the others team will smell blood from far [DWade diminished – if he does not return at 100%] and will not be go down without a fight [e.g. Bulls, Detroit].
3- Can others players in the roster step up to play more than a significant role, like JayWills or Antoine Walker? Again time will tell.
Let's hope that those questions won't be too much of a hindrance when playoffs time comes, I like Miami but yet I am concern about their state right now. I believe because like last year many didn’t see them pass the East Finals… yet they are the Champions now so…
For sure they will make the playoffs but how far are they prepared to go? It's all in the roster hands! Who knows what a heart of Champion may hide… Time will tell.

Yea, they will be a low seed though and have a lot harder of a time making back to the finals. Shaq won't let the heat miss the playoffs

They will definitely make the playoffs. It isn't to hard to do that out East. How far they will go is the issue. Even if Wade is back, will he be capable of a D-Wade like performance with that nagging shoulder injury. Since he didn't elect to have the surgery the shoulder may still be a problem for him.

why do people keep asking this question? There will be at least 8 teams better than them in the playoffs if they make. The Heat are way overrated!

i do no longer think of they seem to be a one hundred% playoff team using fact they have not rather gotten extra clever over the year. particular, they have won Shawn Marion yet that does no longer mean they are going to the playoffs. and despite in the event that they do, they do no longer seem to be making it to the NBA Finals, no longer to show the convention finals. and that they might by no ability have a gamble against a team like the Lakers or Celtics. i think of they are going to be the 8th seed or in all probability no longer make it via being the 9th.

the heat will make it into the playoffs, and probably (at their 6 seed right now) face the wizards which they creamed earlier on. if shaq keeps on playing the way he does the heat might make it to the second round.

Dwayne Wade isn't coming back. If he does, it will do more harm than good. They may make it into the playoffs but they won't make it past the first round.

Shaq will get them into the playoffs. But without D-Wade they won't go far.

Not only make the playoffs, but, if Wade is healthy, make a push to a Finals repeat...
