I think that abortion should be illegal because you're basically killing another human being. I think that it's just not right that human being that you are killing won't have a chance to live life! Won't be able to go to school, make friends, have a first date, get married, and have a family! This human being will miss out on so much stuff! So what I am asking is for your opinion. Do you think that abortion be illegal? Yes or no and why?

Of course it should be illegal. The person pregnant made a choice and should not have an easy way out just because they don't feel like taking care of it. It's just plain lazy and selfish, uncaring and a million other worse things. They should give it to someone who wants it. And for those who conceived by rape....they should still have it because there is still a purpose for that pregnancy and child to be.

No, I don't believe in abortion but I do know that if we make it illegal, people will still find a way to do it at home, and then you could run the risk of losing the mother and the child. I think that there has to be options, it's not for us to choose what others do with their bodies. Like I said before I am personally agianst abortion and would never influence or help someone to obtain one, but I will not judge someone who does either. Let God sort them out.

Yes.
Because this is a life.
They contridict themselves, it is NOT murder if you abort it, but it IS murder if someone hits you in the stomach and kills it.
**rolls eyes**
They have shown time and time again that the BABY (i hate the term fetus) suffers, opens his or her mouth in silent screams, tries to escape.
All forms of abortion are cruel murder. No matter what. If the baby is so unwanted, it should be given up for adoption so it can live a wonderful life with people who can't have kids. Newborns are adopted fast. And the mom can even meet the parents and decide who can take the baby. Or drop the baby off at a hospital or something.
There is no excuse for abortion anymore.
It should be 100% illegal unless somehow it is a life or death situation for the woman.
And for the ones who would go get hanger abortions in alleys, I don't care. I don't care if they puncture themselves. I don't care if they get infected or end up in the ER. They, for one, broke the law, and two, murdered an innocent child. Through pure selfishness.

Hello abortion is legal. I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.
I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.
It is not your decision on why people have abortions. If you seem to think it is murder then how can you support the troops that kill people everyday? Abortion is a medical procedure not shooting someone in the head like the troops do.

My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours
If it was a baby then they would not call it a fetus. A fetus is not a living, breathing human being until it is born and breathing on it's own.

no...becuase if it was, people would do illegal abortions like they used to with wire hangers and stuff. making it illegal wont stop abortion but probably would create a whole underground abortion thing illegally. becuase our society already has been exposed to the right of being able to choose, weather they choose or choose not to abort, to take away the right will not change peoples minds. also I think abortion is wrong in nearly every situation, but i also think its legal for a reason!
I was born at 24 weeks. Back when they didnt have the same technology as they do now. Late abortions are wrong.

I think it needs to be legal you cant go back to the back alley stuff. What do you say to the woman that was raped?However, I think we need to do something so that its not so easy to get one. ie counseling sessions. Late term abortions I totally am against that is Illegal all the way. Question here is when is a fetus a human?

If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one.
I'm not a fan of abortion; I am, however, a fan of a woman's right to choose to have one. It should remain legal.
If any fertilized egg is a human being, and destroying it is murder, why aren't you (and people who believe as you do) out there protesting at fertility clinics? They dispose of unused fertilized eggs. And why don't you have funerals for miscarriages? Oh, I could go on, but of course, nothing I say will change your mind.
You have a right to believe whatever you want. You don't have the right to force your beliefs on me.

My opinion is yes it should be illegal, I do not see how it is different from murder, you are killing a living individual.

yes i so agree! it is like killing a baby, i dont think its fair for the
baby because its not nice to not have a life.
