I am on this website and it says some of these houses are $3000 - $9000?! Am I reading something wrong here?

So if you buy a house for $3000, do you still owe anyone more money? Is there any type of mortgage or anything else you have to pay?

yeah there are houses that you can buy for $1.00 if you look hard enough. forclosed homes are just paying the persons back taxes or paying off what they owe on the house still thats why they are usually so cheap, but you wanna look at them first.

Yes you can buy them. What you are not reading is that they may have sat vacant, been vandalized, been left unattended in the winter and the pipes burst. There are occasional good deals, but nothing is free, they must be updated, and that requires additional investment. You know the saying don't you ?? If it seems too good to be true......
