By "protection" I don't mean her Guards (They have a largely ceremonial role, I think). I mean her "bodyguards".

I would go with Richard's answer. The Coldstream, Welsh, Irish, Grenadier and Scots Guards protect the palaces but do not travel with the royals wherever they go. The police do have a unit who are assigned to protect the royals. A few years ago the first black member was assigned to protect Camilla but he did not last long - there were articles about it in the paper. MI5 might investigate threats to the royal family but are not responsible for their protection.

the prostituted entourage that follows them around, selling stuff to tourists that brings $$$ into britain, which is the main excuse the brits voice for keeping those leeches in power. They control the social system thru the power of ostracization of critics, so nobody speaks out against them. And as has been shown, when the inquest into diana's death was cancelled at the last moment just when it was to start, it was obvious they also control the court system.
The rot in britain has a worldwide odor.

The British Royal Guard.

I think that's what they're called. Those guys with the tall black fuzzy hats that you can yell at and joke with and they're not supposed to move.

Yup.
