Are they going down the pan with the service? I just missed the post this morning, so found a card saying I had to sign for a parcel, I must wait at least 2 hours and then go to the sorting office.
My postman arrives at 11:00, so I waited until13:00 (I work nights so I could do this) and drove the 3 miles to the sorting office. It shuts at 12:30 PM for the day, so I have to go again in the morning.
How can they leave a card saying "wait 2 hours", why don't they say "Wait till tomoorw".
They used to open in the afternoon, so it is yet another annoying cost gutting "Improvement" - Hmmmm

It is annoying,it's happened to me too..My postman can't read either..He delivers my mail to neighbours and their's to me..We end up doing his job for him..Plus,when i do get MY mail, the swine folds it in half before putting it the letter-box..

Yesterday, I received mail while I was away, so the postman left me a red card telling me he'd been there earlier while I hadn't. But he didn't check anything on the card indicating where the frick the package had been sent or what the item number was. So I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone waiting on Customer Service to find out where it was. I've had mail lost and whatnot before as well. I dunno what's up with them- unorganised or just incompetent. Maybe both.

I think you are on to something. A company that cuts costs is not improving service, for, as we all know, better service is a result of more funding, not less.

When they tell you they are cutting costs to improve service, this is a lie.

They lie, they all flat out lie.
