How do you beat Malifecent on Kingdom Hearts (Sleeping Beauty Villain)?

I have the walkthrough and here is what it said:

BOSS: Maleficent.
Baaaad juju up in here. Maleficent flies about on a floating platform, which can be targeted independently. Whack at that to begin with until she falls down into a more convenient position, or achieve the same effect by casting Gravity magic on it. Be careful when attacking the platform, though, since she occasionally sweeps its edge with a lightning blast.
When she's in range, swing away, but do so cautiously -- if you hear her yelling about meteors, run like crap. That's the cue for her deadly Dark Meteor attack, which pelts anyone near her with serious damage. Avoid that by sticking to the sides of the circular area. She also summons Heartless to aid her, so use those to restore MP. Ranged magic attacks are perhaps the safest way to target Maleficent, but a judicious melee attack will get the battle over quicker, especially with Sora's new combo attacks like Ars Arcanum in the mix. all right u have to get ALOT of potions and use your strongest Keyblade now go in there hit the big rock knock her down and hit her with Ars Arcanum. She'll use meteors use dodge roll in the part and do that over about a couple times and she'll use pretty strong heartless and if u go onto the rock she will try to hit u with her staff and it has green fire on it and DON'T let Donald die cause he can heal u so ... good luck oh and in the next battle she's a dragon so use Beast!

Actually, just do what the guide said, only don't bother with the platform, you can just jump up onto it, as Sora can jump up high enough to grab its edge. Once you get up there, swing at her like hell. Her attacks won't stop, so you might get flung off the rock, and that meteor attack is definetly trouble, but other than that, don't bother with the platform unless you desperately need to and just wallop her with everything you got. Also, about the Maleficent dragon, at the beginning of the battle, get on the roots and out of the way and immediately summon Tinker Bell. She doesn't take any characters away and she heals you for the length that she stays. Keep her out for as long as possible, and for once keep some ethers handy. (I only say that because I rarely use the things.)

DO NOT USE MAGIC UNLESS ITS GRAVITY and use ars arcanum get lots of equip potions go to menu sections and buy stuff like max ap rings for sora ONLY SORA when ever u get hit use cura it cures a lot and doesnt use a lot of mana and always melee attack if u got any more questions go to gamefaqs ^^

about the meteors dont running around. stay under the rock. when i beat her i just went and beat her over with metal chocobo. also when you beat her and fight maloficent dragon, STAY AWAY FROM THE FIRE! it killed me in 5 seconds once but dont worry bout donald and goofy to much. they are gonna die anyway so dont waste time healing them. get on her baxk and hit from there.
