You shouldn't be having sex at all unless you are ready for the chance of becoming a dad.

Taking care of a baby is very hard. Step up, be a man and don't make her do it all alone. It took both of you to get into this situation, now both of you need to be responsible.

Wow, some of these ladies were pretty harsh. You don’t need all that meanness and drama right now. What you do need is some good advice. Two MAJOR don’ts: DON’T have an abortion and DON’T abandon her. This is what happens when people have sex, babies get made, I know you know all about that. Now, adoption is an option, but it should be a LAST RESORT!!! A child is hard work, just like anything worth having in life. I was TERRIFIED of being a mother when I found out I was pregnant. I just knew a baby would be too stressful and I’d lose my temper and I just wouldn’t be able to handle it. I wanted more time alone with my man, more time to just be a young adult. But, I sucked it up and lo and behold, on March 1, 2005, the most wonderful, precious, beautiful human being ever created entered my life, and it’s been a wild, but fun, ride ever since. Being responsible for another life is hard, it’s stressful and it can make you want to pull your hair out, but that is only for 20% of the time. The other 80%, you spend too much time smiling and loving and teaching and learning to even worry about that 20%. Stick with it, and don’t worry about how you’ll finish college or advance in that career for now. Just worry about making sure you take care of that precious gift growing inside of this woman because it really is the most valuable thing that will EVER come into your life. If you need any help or anyone to talk to (who won’t be a judgmental witch) just email me. You CAN do this!!!! Love and blessings.

Well this is too bad for you i guess you need to get ready and do the right thing-No one is really ever completely ready but you were ready when you got her pregnant so yeah that's what the outcome is of one fun night in the sack -consequences for your actions.Be a man and take care of your baby!!!!!!There are probably some planned parenting classes or people whom can help you to prepare for your child and what you can expect.Otherwise your just going to be making the biggest and most selfish decision of your life-to be a dead-beat daddy and not give two ***** about your own flesh and blood. So hopefully you do the right thing and choose to be a part of your child's life.Good luck

You have no choice. You have to get ready. No one is never really "ready" to have a child. I suggest you look into parenting classes and ask relatives for advice. You need to find yourself a good job with benefits and get your life together. If this is something you really think that you can't handle, then talk to the mother about it, and maybe she's willing to try adoption if she feels the same. If not, just get ready, because you can't shirk your responsibility now. You're in it for life. Good luck.

The only thing you can do is to man up and start thinking about how you can improve your situation within 5 months. You can accomplish a lot in 5 months. Get your bills down, save some money, buy pampers on sale, buy baby items on sale. Get/Upgrade your job. If you were "taking care of business" to make the baby, you have to be able to take care of it. Be happy that you'll have a little son/daughter soon. OH, and be nice to mommy to be.

Lucky for you babies aren't made overnight. You have some time to adjust to the idea and get ready for baby. I bet its still a shock at this point, but go with the mother to her appointments, try to learn and help her. Her 20 week appointment should include an ultrasound which may help make it real for you. Best of luck

Too late for that now.. you should have thought about that before you had unprotected sex. Do you think everyone that has a baby is ready? Nope... So your just going to have to deal with it and be the best father that you can.

Sorry Ayon, if you were accepting the responsibility of having sex, you were accepting the consequences of having sex. Step up, make arrangements, take classes & learn how to be ready to take care of a baby. This baby is your family & you don't turn your back on your family...ever!

There is only one option, be a man, step up and take care of your responsibility. Go ahead, try and back out, she will take you to court for child support, and if you don't pay, you go to jail. You think you just wont work and get out of it? They'll send you to jail. Also note that men who pay child support are often left damn near broke after that money is taken out of their check. And yes, it is taken out before you even see the check. Your baby needs a father, get rid of your selfishness and be a man. If you weren't ready for a baby you should have thought about that before screwing around. Maybe you need to be neutered?
