My waterbed came with a hose that connects to a nipple opening at the foot of the bed. Have a bucket nearby because when you open that nipple, water inevitably leaks out while you are trying to attach the hose to it. If you don't have or cannot find it, you can purchase one from waterbed dealers (called fill & drain kits) in your area or in the garden section at some of the home improvement stores (adapter and hose to water plants from an indoor spigot). Here's the trick though. Since basically gravity is doing its job to empty out the water, you have to artifically create it as the mattress empties. Even with a super pump, that means you stand on the platform frame, holding up the mattress walking toward the end of the bed to move the water out through the hose. Be very careful as your liner is 10 years old and if you haven't been diligent about conditioning, your seams may be fragile so watch for leaks. That is why I bought a king sized tube waterbed the second time around!

connect the hose to the mattress and the sink. turn water on, let run until no more air is coming out of the hose. turn water off, crimp hose at mattress end, disconnect hose from mattress, put that end of hose in sink or drain that is lower than the mattress, let it drain. (it helps to occasionally pull the mattress headboard end over the foot end to keep the water at the nozzle)

Whether you have the drain out attachment or not, send your hose out of the mattress to a LOWER draining area and the water will ciphen out by itself!

You will have to get a syphon pump that you can attach a garden hose to. run the hose to the tub or nearest drain and pump until the water starts flowing. It's pretty easy.

It should come with a reverse suction hose,,,otherwise, do like a siphon on it until the water starts running out.

You use the same kit that you used to fill it. If you do not have one, they are available almost everywhere. They are called fill and drain kits.
