It might be a Taylor Swift song....does the song evolve from them as children playing in the back yard to dating in high school and then getting married and growing old together? If so it is "Mary's Song (Oh My My)" by Taylor Swift. Thats the only one that comes to mind right now.
Oh yeah it could also be "Me and Charlie Talkin" by Miranda Lambert. I think theres something about a creek in that one.
