Biggest pet peeve about other drivers?

I have MANY peeve's...but what I hate more then anything is....

when you are the first person waiting at a stop light and some one gets into the turning lanes & then when the light turns red they gun nit to be the first one in the line that was waiting to go straight - AGH!!!! What is wrong with those people? Do they think they are better then the rest of us & don't have to wait?

Same w/ when you are waiting to get into a concert or sporting event or if there's traffic. If it's clear everyone is merging....why do some people think it's okay to stay in the lane they are in and then speed ahead of everyone to butt in up front???? Does their $iht not stink or something?

I'm going to go with tailgaters myself. It's gotten to the point that I'm driving with my rearview mirrror more than anything. If I can't see the headlights of the person following me, I get nervous. If I look into my mirror and see a car coming at me at a high rate of speed while I'm sitting in a line of cars stopped at a light, i get nervous (and on more than one occasion that has happened to me to where they end up nearly swerving into uncoming traffic at the last minute to avoid hitting me). I do not creep on cars, even while sitting at a light (because you never know when someone's going to slam into your hiny). And when you're going at minimum 70-80 mph on the expressway, there is absolutely no reason the person behind you needs to use bump drafting on you!

I just thought of a close second while reading some other responses: when traffic goes from two (or more) lanes down to just one and people know it for miles and miles, yep continue on up into they are about at that freakin merge sign and then try to get over. This is a big reason why construction zones get so backed up! I love it when truckers do their best to impede these morons!

Yep, people who tailgate - not only on the freeway, but on sidestreets when you're only going 20-30 mph. Why, people, why?

Cellphone users have to be my 2nd biggest peeve. I guess nowadays stupid people are even texting while driving. Those people ought to be denied insurance and pay out of pocket when they wreck their cars.

#1 tailgaters...do they really think riding my bumper that close is going to make me go any faster? i already go 5mph over all the time. Ride my bumper, and I do 5mph UNDER the speed limit. I have a 1/4" thick steel step bumper, who do you think you're intimidating??

#2 Non-attentive drivers. This includes cellphone-talkers, burger-munchers, sight-seers, kid-punishers, loud stereo listeners, and anybody else that thinks their car is anything other than a dangerous piece of heavy machinery used to get from here to there.

Unfortunately I drive the speed limit or under.I do try to stay in the right lane.There is times that I have to get over to the left.I have almost been run over several times.I turn the blinker on and move left.I have had cars come up behind me so fast that if theres another car on my left they have to move to dodge them.I really don't see how they don't see my car,I use my signals and look thru my rear view mirror before I move over.Thanks for letting me vent.Good queation.

#2: People who change several lanes and do not allow enough distance in between the cars while doing it (part of #1 cause of accidents on highways)

People that brake. Why slow down at times for no reason? That makes everything get backed up. Crazy people!

No turning signal, that irks me every time. So lazy and disrespectful. I also hate excessively loud engines. Most people do this on purpose. And it's stupid.
