del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site. It is a really cool way to organize all of your favorite websites. I have 3 different computers I work on (work and a laptop at home and my regular one at home) so I was forever trying to find a site that I knew I had saved. I have had a del.icio.us account for a bout a year and I love it. When you save a site (or particular page) you can add tags to help you organize. I have tags like recipe, makeup, fun, gifts, design

The reason its called social bookmarking is you can find and share links with your friends. You can go on their site and see what is the most popular site for recipes or if you find a fashion site your friend would like you can save it and it will tell her (if she has an account) that you have a recommended site for her.

I'd highly recommend it if you are a Internet nerd like me. It's free too in case you didn't know :D

Technically not a programming and design question.

But the answer is, del.i.cious is like Furl and digg. The simplest answer is that it's basically online bookmarking.

I assume that del.i.cious would be able to answer more completely. Try going there.

Know how you can make a bookmark in your browser for favorite sites? Same idea, but the info isn't stuck on that computer. You can also share and subscribe to other people's bookmarks.
