In UK there are a lot of rules to be followed. Apart from the hygiene ones there is a question of labelling. All cakes must have a precise list of all ingredients, amount of each per cake or per 100 gm. the amount and percentage of fat, sugar, salt etc.. a list of any additives or colourants. Whether any nuts or allergy type materials are present. I honestly would query whether it was all worth it. Could mum control her baking so the quantities and results were exactly the same every time? You can do what you like at home or give them away but can't sell them. Even the WVS and Mothers Union have had to stop the home made cake sales at fetes and similar because of rules and regulations.

I have Spa parties in my home, others homes, businesses, anywhere you can think of. They are so much fun, you can choose any theme, such as:
Teen Spa, Office Retreat, Martini's/Margarita's & Make-overs, Happy Hour, Bridal Spa, Mens Spa, Grand Opening, Champagne Spa or anything you can imagine.
You create your own schedule, work as little or as much as you want. The company I work with is $250 to join, this month you can join for $99, and you receive over $700 in product and sales aids. If you are serious about building a business for yourself I can help you get started without paying a penny.
Email me for more information. No Scam. Legit Business Opportunity!

There are lots of options. First think about the things you already enjoy doing.. If you like scrapbooking there are scrapbooking companies in the direct sales field. There are also candle companies, perfume companies, pleasure companies, makeup companies, the list goes on and on.
I would suggest decided what you might like first and then research all the companies who offer direct sales in that field.

Please before you do that, check out all your options. I lost alot of money with Avon. I've actually tried several companies. I'd love to relay a link but yahoo doesn't allow it, but they do allow you to look at my profile and email. Good Luck and be careful in your search! Jennifer
