I took the wheels off to clean them, with paper towel, just to take off the built up dust. Now when I tightened them, they are noisy, not quiet like before. Did I wipe away some grease or anything. If so what oil/grease do you use?

regrease them
try white lightening
or tri flow teflon

You wiped away the lubrication in the bearings.

DO NOT RE OIL THEM WITH JUST ANY OIL

you need to get precision skate bearing lubrication

(available at your local skateshop for about 10 dollars)

Just squeeze a few drops of this in your open bearings and your bearings will be skating better than before

It's probably NOT your wheels. It's most likely the bearings because they make the wheel turn :)
