I wanna do the Leamonade diet to jump start my weightloss. Unfortunately I know my mom wont agree with it because of how active I am and how often I play hockey.

So I was wonder would it still work if I only ate one meal a day and worked off the calories with hockey and hitting the gym?

Suggestions on hiding it from her?

I eat helthy to begin with, no junk food no pop no nothing. I lost 8 lbs a month ago and now the scale wont budge. Being healthy isn't working at all

It's not actual lemonade, its water lemon juice and honey

nope. you can die from no nutrition and playing hockey and going to the gym. what are you trying to do? you are gonna be like anorexic skinny and you will die from it.
I HAVE ONE QUESTION: how long have you been doing this? and what is your weight now? and how old r u? i can tell u if u need to gain weight. but dont do this!

Body fat % is what you need to worry about, not weight. Dieting is good but you need to do it a reasonable amount, the lemonade diet is no good.

While I appreciate the desire to lose weight, such a diet wouldn't be a good idea. You need that energy do play hockey, and you won't get it by depriving yourself of nutrients.

Consider a sensible diet that you don't have to hide from anyone. I mean, if you eat together during any part of the day, you'll be found out eventually.

You are on your way to anorexia....You need to go to your mom and tell her what you are thinking about doing. One meal a day is not going to "jump start" your weight loss. It is going to make your body think you are starving and it is going to start STORING fat....you'll probably GAIN weight. In addition to that, I have NEVER heard of a Lemonaid diet, but I assure you....that won't work. Lemonaid is mostly sugar. Start drinking MORE water, keep going to the gym, and EAT 5 meals a day.....high protien, small portions......and tell your mom.

With a regimen of ice hockey and hittin' the gym why diet?
I've played ice hockey and know what a good workout it is.
If you must... do the one meal a day thing.

you just need to cut out Carbs, like veggies, twinkies, all junk food,, just start eating a couple boiled eggs in morning,, plain chicken breast for lunch etc,, if you eat at the Cafe,, No breads, just eat the insides of hamburgers etc..

fad diets dont work. your body will think it's starving and will convert your calories that you do consume to fat. cut down on your carbs, junk food, soda. cut sodium. drink lots and lots of water.
