Good old compost! I use the bins that are up on frames and you spin them, because I'm in the city and not allowed to sompost on the ground. It uses all our scraps, dryer linr and stuff, and makes a great fertilizer. Makes good mulch too.

use compost or decomposed organic matter.some stores sell organic fertlizers like fish emulsion, plant tone and ironite.
