I am trying to determine whether I want to carry my bag on or have it checked in when I go to Orlando via Southwestern. Anyone ever have any problems with luggage?

I have used Southwest (I assume that is the airline to which you are referring) many times. Never lost luggage yet. If you have a real fear that this will happen, just make sure you take any valuables or important items, such as medication, in a smaller carry on. I always take a carry-on that fits under the seat. I find it a wee bit annoying when people are lugging these HUGE "carry-ons", then they can't even lift them to put them in the overhead compartment!

Now, if you are only going for a day or two, and don't have much time (and also are packing not much stuff!) by all means, use the carry on. This will save you time at the luggage carousel.

Have a good trip!

You mean Southwest? If you can carry it on, then do it. That is the best bet. Otherwise you have to wait and wait for your luggage and risk it getting lost.

Have fun in Orlando!

I have never had a problem with them but if it's possible to carry it on, do so.
