You don't have to do anything. Just let the boss keep on doing what he's doing. He should treat you well if he's stealing your work. You know the saying, What goes around, comes around. People aren't stupid, they will realize sooner or later what is going on. I've seen this happen in the past, you hate to see what is going on and everyone will know the truth. If your boss gets a promotion, he will want to take you up the ladder with him because he needs you.
They also say that, You'll be promoted up to your level of incompetence. Gresham's law, I believe.
Cream rises to the top, so don';t let it bother you. You can laugh at him on the inside, because you know his downfall is coming sooner or later. Good luck

Sign your work, or otherwise make sure that your name, information, etc. is in it.
Publicly state in front of others that you're working on whatever the project is before the boss has time to claim it. Make sure that the people who will use this work, buy the product, etc. know that you are the one that did it.
When the work is done, demonstrate detailed, in depth knowledge of the product or article or whatever, such that it is obvious you were involved with it from the beginning.
And then be damned sure that it works, or your reputation will go down the tubes!
