Ok, I've heard people say that gay and straight people have equal rights because a straight woman and a gay woman are both allowed to marry any man they wish, and they both are not allowed to marry any woman. A straight man and a gay man are both allowed to marry any woman they wish, and they are both not allowed to marry any man.

Just to let you know, I don't agree with this. I just can't think of any way to argue it...

We are supposedly entitled, as Americans, to Life, Liberty,
AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Obviously, if marrying straight when you are gay makes you particularly UNhappy, then you are denied the same opportunity as straight people. Period.
What you've stated is the oddest resoning I've ever heard on the matter.- I know you don't agree with it.
As you can see, logic is not science. It is easy to draw whatever conclusion is wished, so long as the emotional need for delusion is great.

I'm confused just reading this. I'm guessing u are for gay marriage. A idea to argue this is u could state how a wedding done by a judge isn't sacred b/c it's not done with a religous person. Thats all I can think of at the moment.

well, the whole issue is that gay men/women are not interested in women/men and so it's like comparing apples to oranges.

This is the most asinine argument I have ever heard about this issue!
