Was it worth the money and time invested?

Fortunately I didn't have to pay attend the seminar, instead our professor gave us class credit if we attended it... I don't recall getting motivated during or after any of the speeches. Instead I spent most of the time there doodling and trying to keep my stomach from growling aloud.
It was the same generic advice you could get from a self help book or a poster. I suppose it would have been informative and interesting for someone who had lived in isolation their whole life. As soon as the "sign in sheet" got passed in my direction, I walked straight on out of there with 3/4 of my class.

yes i would advise against it. i was so bored i couldn't last it out.
