I am pregnant now and due in July. My husband and I have started calling the baby Junebug. We can't remember how it came about but maybe it should be changed to Julybug!

My baby has not been born yet but we call it Pooh Bear. The first ultrasound picture was the baby laying on its side looking at us and the way everything was shaped and where the picture was a little blurry the baby's figure looked exactly like Winnie the Pooh. We figured the name worked for a girl or boy.

My oldest we call lexerdoo....have no idea how it came about...it just did. She was called chunky monkey as a baby cause she was soo big but now she is smaller than average so it wouldn't work.

My middle child we call boogie...her nickname was originally Caily Bug but when she was a baby she produced mass boogers for no apparent reason so daddy started calling her boogie and it just stuck.

My youngest has several....boo boo(this is what daddy calls her...or just boo) and some call her Em, or Emmy, or just plain...little stinking a$$ cause for a girl she can clear a house out quickly!

And every once in awhile I call all 3 of them baby duck.

Oooh, great question!

I call my little one Binky boy, Boy wonder and Niblet....just to name a few!

I think nicknames for babies are so cute and fun as there is almost always a story behind them.
My nicknames have a limited shelf life. I mean, I don't think he'll want to be called 'Niblet' or 'Binky Boy' when he is older. :o(

My son was lil buddy cause he went EVERYWHERE with me....my middle child, my 1st daughter was Peach, cause she was born in the south...and my youngest 2nd daughter is Mole...cause she has always burrowed into her blankets and when you wake her up she has that "I'm blinded by the light " look a mole gets. Course, I tease my son, his sisters couldn't say his name, Allan, when they were younger so they called him Annone ( ann none) lol..lol. My middle child I call B, her name is Brianna, or I call her blue eyes cause she has HUGE blue eyes. The youngest, well her name is Holly Jessica, but I usually call her Jess, J-girl, Jessieboo. I use Holly most when I need to get her attention.

My daughter's was "bump" because I didn't show until very late in pregnancy and all I had was this bump of a baby. I guess it just stayed after she was born. I still call her that sometimes and she's 10 now!

Bubbie. I don't know. It just slipped out one morning.
Punkin-Again, just slipped out.
This one's kinda gross, but I only call her this when noone else is around.
Booger-face. She had a piece of foam in her nose that the doctors didn't see, and I didnt' know she had it in there. She was about 1. It got really infected and her nose and eyes were leaky. So I called her boogerface. (Nicely of course)

When my son was born, he was a preemie, but caught up in size and weight very quickly. Now instead of being a little peanut, we affectionately call him our "Chunky Monkey" because he's quite a chubby little guy now!

My daughter was called Peanut (she still is at 13 yrs) - because she is so tiny
My son was called Grunter... His name is Hunter, but as a baby, he would make little grunting noises...
So everynow and then, they both get called those names still...
