.... when u already know THAT answer beforehanded ?

If u don't know that answer beforehanded,
then How would u select a BEST Answer ???

Because this is an open forum to express your thoughts, no matter the questioner knows the answer or not. Further, the joy of expression, makes the reading informative and interesting. It is an open box and anybody can read and comment. In the process the vision widens . It is also a way of learning. Further, you can be choosy to answer if you like , otherwise the question does not stand the merit to invite or obtain answers .

So, no need to, feel that you are being questioned - this is not a police station for interrogation. This is only a platform to chat , to covey what you know or have read and get a feel of a your imagination. You may also rejoice when you discover that your answer has been resolved as the best answer.

When a teacher ask a question. All the students answer, however, the teacher decides who has presented the answer in the best way...obviously the teacher knows the answer so it does not mean the person asking the question does not know the answer. Same way if I ask you a riddle, I know the answer, however, I want to know if you can find the answer too. Now let us take the case where a person asks a question because the person does not know the answer. The person will receive several answers which will more or less give him/her the info that he/she needed. He/she can quite easily judge which person's answer helped him/her to understand the subject better. Based on this he/she can select the best answer.

Example:

I ask the following question: -

Q. How do I go to Regal cinema?

A1. Take a cab.

A2. You can take a taxi if you are in a hurry, or you could catch the No 3 bus from the third bus stop from here. You could also use the share a cab service, however, you may have to wait awhile...

Now I did not know how to go to Regal, I got two answers, both telling how to go there. It is very obvious which answer is more informative.

Dear, when we ask a question we do not know the answer or say we are confused. When we get a few answers we get a choice and some direction. When we think over the answers and compare we find the right one. Well, there may be more than one right answers to your questions, but you select the best one.. best is the one you like the most. You like the reasoning, theory, example or whatever. Its your choice. So go ahead.

I know the answer to my question and you should know the answer to your question.
I do know that answer beforehand cause I know what answer you usually look for...a pattern.
I would have known the answer I was looking for before I asked the question....I feel better now.

love the logic. lolz. even though if we think abt it for a while the logic disappears..becz the person who asked the question reads through the answers..and chooses the one that he likes..that doesnt mean that he knew he answer beforehand.

Well one time I asked who sings a certain song because I couldn't remember. A woman gave me the name of the artist and the lyrics. I gave her best answer cause she answered my question first.Sheese save some vodka for the rest of us.
