It was originally thought that Albert Einstein had drawn the plans for a time machine. However, upon investigating the evidence, it was discovered that Rory Emerald had appropriated the time machine from a different time vortex and had actually landed in Albert Einstein's back yard. The two men hit it off famously and Albert told Rory that he would not tell about what had happened. In exchange Rory would be sent to see Elizabeth Taylor and the machine would return empty so that Albert Einstein could dissemble the time machine. That is why there are drawings of the machine. It was so that Albert could reassemble it when needed.
