Is there ovulation cramping and if so does that mean an egg has matured?

Technically I am to ovulate March 11th. Friday and Sat. before I was feeling crampy, nothing serious just crampy. My spouse and I had intercourse Sat, Sunday, Monday and tuesday.
Could those cramps meant I was ovulating and if so what are the chances that an egg popped out?
