Yes Clinton did fire the attorneys but it was done at the beginning of his term of office in 1993 which he had the legal right to do.

In this newest Bush story he and is AG were attempting to fire attorneys last fall prior to the elections because they were not going after Democrats.

For six years while Republicans controlled congress there was no accountability of the Bush white house there is today.

What is the hoopla here? There is nothing illegal, let alone unethical, about a President firing US attorneys. They serve at the discretion of the President. Clinton...blessed be his name (Smile)...cleaned house of US attorneys when he was in office. And it was generally accepted that there was a political agenda behind it connected to Whitewater, but no one made a big deal over it, because it was his prerogative.

This is just another example of the Democrats looking for every possible way to slam Bush. It's pathetic. The only thing I regret is that Bush doesn't call the Dems out over the hypocrisy of this latest "scandal." Sometimes being a gentleman has its drawbacks.

There are some people that think it's a crime to be Republican ..and of course , to these lesser minds..it's also a crime to speak . Do you just sit around and watch President Bush until you get a sound-bite to chew on ? Chill .

Where was the "outrage" when Clinton fired 93 attorneys?

You people are true hypocrites.
