my husband, age 29, Polish origin, drinks 2 beers nightly. sometimes within minutes of returning home from the gym. is this behaviour normal?

It's fine. 2 beers is okay. He's just wanting to wind down. If it proceeds to get more and more every night, then there's a problem. I wouldn't worry too much.

If there is no negative repercussions when he drinks said beers than I don't see a problem. BUT, drinking beer every night like that is habit forming and if he starts drinking more than that a night I would have a chat with him.
Honestly though, Americans are very different on what we view as a tolerable consumption of alcohol than Europeans. They drink alot more than we do and smoke alot more as well.

If he were German I would say yeah,but Polish I am not so sure.It can be simply to relax or he likes the flavor of beer.
If he really only has a couple,that's not too many at once.
He could be drinking more than you know.You only see him drink a couple.If he can drink and not progress to more
and more drinking,I don't see a real problem.Unless, he had a dependency in the past.Good Luck.

If it is only 2 beers then it should not be a problem. My first husband use to go to bars and come home most every night drunk and we would spend the rest of the night arguing. At least your husband is at home with you.

If your only problem is that your husband drinks two beers nightly....you are very fortunate! Are you opposed to drinking? What is the problem? Does he abuse you after those two beers? Maybe you should have a couple of beers with him and loosen up.

two beers...at home? Not a problem, a little alcohol may make him relax and sleep better. I would only complain if he drank excessivley and did it out with the boys at the club.

Your spouse is definitely eating too plenty. a pitcher of wine interior the night is one factor. an entire bottle is over the proper. If she won't get assist you and your daughter can get help coping along with her alcoholism. you could bypass to Al-anon. no count number in case you come to a decision to stay or go away, Al-anon might help deal with your section in her alcoholism. i think of you have a clearer concept of your difficulty when you have attended some conferences. then you could come to a decision in case you prefer to divorce her or no longer. Perfectly normal. You are lucky he drinks two at home. Some men drink dozens in the pub and don't even come back home.
