Most calendars have Sunday as the first day of the week. The WORK week begins on Monday. Some other cultures or religions have other days they consider the first day of the week.

Well Sunday in some terms of the calender but it is believed Monday would be the start of a fresh week.But yet again Sunday has Sun in to remind u of the Sun rising once again fresh so it depends how look at in other terms

God created heaven & earth, starting on Monday and finished on Saturday. Sunday is for worship and rest. So as I see it Monday is the 1st day of the week.
