I have tendinitis in my thumb for about 15 months. I still have pain and cannot use my hand properly.

I already had anti inflammatory and physical therapy.

Will it still help if I wear a brace at night?

Normally tendinitis will be reduced by rest, but in your case there is something not healing. I would recommend using the brace at night, and beginning some range of motion exercises and strengthening to get it back on track. I'll link you to a few good sites. Good luck.

Recently I purchased a Sonic Relief and WOW what a difference. Being able to give myself treatments at home was not only easier and more convenient, but I got much better results than when I was going for treatments twice per week.

Since I got my Sonic Relief, my suffering is over. When I feel the pain returning I treat myself every day for a week or so and I stop the tennis elbow before it ever returns. The time between flare-ups is getting longer and longer, and my game is better than ever.Therapeutic Ultrasound is one method of stimulating tissue beneath the skin's surface using sound waves. It is a very high frequency massage that can penetrate up to 5" below the surface of your skin.

I think it works the opposite way... if you wear a brace, it will keep your thumb stiff. You want it to be free. Move it and exercise it slowly.

I recommend you see a physio therapist, again, if the pain is too grave.

tendonitis is a repetitive use injury. Yes, wear your brace, at night, and during the day, if you can. Try to identify the use that is causing the injury, and stop doing that for as long as you can.

What have you been using that thumb for? Put some vagisil or penisilan. That should clear it right up.
