I am a young woman with an idea for a downtown store that sells everything Tea. (tea kettles, cups ect.) I have been searching the internet for a website to aid me in the steps of starting my small business but it seems everything is spread all over. Anyone have a suggestion on where I should look for detailed good advice on how to start a business?

Definately use SCORE (noted in the above answer). They are a great resource and are often found through your local Small Business Administration (SBA) location. The SBA is also a good resource, but is not as personal as SCORE.

Do not know a source of information on starting a business but I can tell you that you should be able to get a free grant from the government to start a business and being a female is a plus since you’re considered a minority. Good luck and hope you succeed in achieving your goal.
