Teething can take a long time in some children. For my son, it was about two months from the time he started showing symptoms of teething before his first two broke through. They can come to the surface and drop back down several times during the process. Use baby ibuprofen to ease her discomfort, allow her to chew on a cool damp washcloth and be aware that she might start having problems going to bed because it can be a little uncomfortable at night when they lay down. I guess around 10 months he had four teeth. It seems like they came in like crazy after that and he's got almost a full set now at 21 months. Good luck!

Every baby is different. When the teeth finally erupt depends on how often he or she is encouraged to chew on teethers and such to help the sweet little pearls to break thru. You can help your baby by rubbing the gums gently with a cool cloth, and try a daytime and night time teething gel. I recommend orajel personally. My son is 8 months now and has his 2 bottom teeth, and his first top tooth busted thru 2 nights ago. What a little pumpkin!

You have to be patient at this time. Teeth will grow at different stages of your child's life. By the age of 2 she should have all her baby teeth in, but as of right now....the teeth are growing in slow. Be patient....just be ready to deal with a fussy daughter.
