They both are great. Northern Utah is cooler than Southern Utah. Both have great places to see and do. I know that Southern Utah has some great National Parks such as Zion and Bryce, you can also go to canyon land and look at the different arches, you can also have a wonderful time at Lake Powell. Lets move to Northern Utah in the winter time there is wonderful ski resorts, you can come and visit antelope Island, visit the Great Salt Lake, visit temple Square, and this is the Place State Park, Willard Bay is great, Logan is a great place also to see. I live in northern Utah more towards Ogden Utah and i do not mind it at all but i also like Southern Utah. In Northern Utah particular Salt Lake City that is where the news stations are and where a lot of professional teams play. I do not think that i could choose what is best between the two.

It depends on whether you like to ski or not. I don't ski, but I still prefer northern utah.
