I just got a letter in the mail (not even my correct address) saying I won the lottery...blah, blah, blah. I know it's fake. (Hello, stuff is spelled wrong and the signature on the check doesn't match the issuer's!) I was just wondering if I should report this, and to whom would I do that?
Also, how do these people get my information? Name, address (albeit wrong), what else do they have? Should I be concerned?

This was snail mail, not e-mail.

Forward it to your local police. I've received the e-mail version of it. For you to receive an actual letter is pretty brazen.
Good luck.

Below is a link to a website that has resource on where you can report fraud like this. The only thing you can really do is file an abuse report by forwarding a a copy of the email Internet of where the email was generated.

Whether it's by way of a catalog order, a magazine subscription, or even your cell phone bill, your name's going on a list somewhere, which means a load of bulk mail (or Lotto spam) is going to reach you one way or another. At least they didn't get your address completely right, so rip letter in half, torch, and repeat!

do 3 things 1 take a copy ,2. take 1 copy to the police 3. send the copy to your local Trading Standards office. They probably get your address off the Electoral rolls.

I would either throw it away and forget it, or take it to your local police station for advice.
You can get anyone's name and address from the electoral register - copies are in your local library. So I would not worry too much there either.

DELETE IT!!! and as you have a yahoo! mail, click the button "THIS IS SPAM".
These people get your information from sites that you already given your name, e.g. sites of online games and so one...
These sites give your information to spam mail sender under your authority!
I mean that accepting the Policy of the site to become a member of it, you accept giving your DATA to others....

Most people's details can easily be gathered, well sufficient to send you that letter anyway. Bin it, ignore the muppet who sent it and enjoy life.
