I've found the Orion Explorer II Zoom eyepiece pretty usefull...... even made my crappy Tasco thing usable.

This is where I got mine from:

It's handy, because you can change between using 7mm / 9mm / 11mm / 15mm / 21mm zoom without having to mess about changing eyepieces.

You may also want to consider looking at the "Orion Deepview" eyepieces

But you'll most likely need one of these adaptors to get them to fit

You didn't say the focal length of your 80mm telescope (the 80mm is the diameter of the main lens), so I can't say for sure. But I think you don't need any more. The 12.5mm plus the barlow will give you all the high magnification you need and I think 20mm is low enough power for those situations calling for low magnification.

You would really enjoy lower power eyepieces. If you have an 1 1/4 focuser you can handle about a 32 mm. If you have a 2 inch focuser you can go clear up to 40 or 50 mm. The wide field veiws with these eyepieces are stunning.

I agree with mt .. I've got a 2 inch 40 mm and it is so good for wide fields.

Same here. I use my 25 and 32mm alot more than my smaller eyepieces.
