Years ago I had light boxes from Radio Shack that hooked into the speaker lines from my stereo, and the lights flashed in time to the music. Try Radio Shack - they will have all of the electronics to help you. You may not be able to use your existing lights, but they may have something you could use instead.

i've got heard of, yet on no account experimented with, employing "the clapper" to sync lighting fixtures with audio curiously it has a variable consequence on the lighting fixtures that it controls and would circuitously be linked so as that the sound can vibrate with the lighting fixtures in case you opt to isolate the sub using fact the controlling sound i could positioned the clapper on an extension cord next to the sub and the lighting fixtures on yet another extension cord into the clapper

Plug the xmas lights into the auxilliary power outlet on the back of your stereo.

you need to buy a special type of light for that look on ebay.com and you will be able to find them there. Smoke on.
