Yes, I walked around 80 percent effaced and 3 cm dilated for nearly three weeks. Just take the doctor's numbers with a grain of salt and it won't get you too worked up. The baby will come when he's ready. Congrats and Good Luck!

yes. Your cervix can be thinned out and dialated for weeks before you go into labor. Don't expect anything anytime soon. Your cervix needs to be 100% effaced

probably i've been 70% effaced/thinned out for 2 weeks and 2 cm for almost 2 weeks and still nothing and im not due till the 30th but dont take my word for it all babies are unpredictable good luck and congrats

well i think you will. my best friend is already 2cm dialated and she's due the 25th and her doctor is prett foncident she'll make it. it all depends on what that wonderful little person inside of you deicides.
