I think global climate change is a legitimate concern and threat. I also think at least some of it is caused by human activity, and some of it is not. NASA won't readly admit it but they have observed warming on Mars. So that tells you that not all of the problem is caused by greenhouse gas emission. Also, the sun is in the eleventh year of a cycle of increased activity and flaring.
Now how much of the problem is caused by what we can't control, the sun, and how much of the problem is caused by what we can control, greenhouse gas emissions? I don't know. I think NOAA, NASA, or some research university should do the world a favor and try to figure out the true source of global warming. Meanwhile, we should be conservative about our greenhouse gas emissions, maybe focusing on other reasons like acid rain and energy costs that we understand better.
And remember this: "The Stone Age didn't end because we ran out of stone."

As a retired teacher I have to warn students about these arguments. Mass media has given us as much misinformation as anything else. Listen to the arguments and be discerning. When you are quoted "x tonnes of carbon dioxide" do not just question the numerical values but attend also to the sources. When you hear that Professor so-and-so has discovered that some amazing process which is taking place remember that there are still a lot of mad scientists about.Equally worrying is the tendency to quote people who have got something right in the past as though their word will always be trustworthy. This is a much use ploy in the advertising business.
Remember an ounce of proof is worth a tonne of experts.

Al Gore - the national expert on everything from the Internet to the Peace Corp..suddenly became a global warming expert to perpetrate the largest fraud ever , to further political interests in order to squeeze more government into our homes & lives - while it's another "great" idea to raise taxes .
Gore puts out a film in the same Michael Moore- propaganda style - and gets Hollyweird to lend credence..and hey- then he must be right ?? The hypocrite is up to his ears -and then some , using a five-figure $$ amount of energy each month PERSONALLY . You don't have to be a farmer , or a scientist
funded by the Democrat party to know a hoax when you see one .The Democrats want to take away all forms of progess , in order to control the masses . They think they are all gods , so , to them it's perfectly natural to think humans control weather .

We do need to worry about it but the bigger thing we really have to worry is global SUFFICATION.
Because we are filling the air with carbon dioxide and there may not be enough plants to inhale all of it, we would be able to breath less because of that excess carbon. It's like putting a plastic bag over your head an sealing it. Obviously, because there is only carbon dioxide in the bag, you'd choke and die.
Al Gore and environmentalists need to bring this up to convince people even more.
BTW, I'm a student.

If the sun did'nt have a chance to shine the globe would be a little cooler. If clouds blocked the suns rays but letting only enough heat to keep us warm thats not too bad. If those clouds moved away...there would be a sudden surge of heat....PHEW. Who said have a holiday and follow the sun? The sun is warm enough where you and I are. But something new is happening with the atmosphere excessive warm currents of air are being blown from the hot countries and is raising the temperature....that is my opinion of global warming and it's nothing to do with us people. By the way I wish to remain anonymous.

I don't believe mankind is to blame for so called 'global warming'
All planets die! and that includes the planet Earth! I believe that the Earth is coming to the end of its natural life, it has after all been alive for many millions of years, I'm not saying that it is going to happen just yet, but perhaps in a few hundred years time.

I'm not convinced it is happening, and if it is, it could just be a normal cycle of the earth. It is definitely not human induced. I am also not convinced that the temperature today is optimal for the planet. Maybe we'd be better off it it were warmer.
To me there are too many unanswered questions to waste millions of dollars on something that I'm not even sure needs to be fixed.

BAD NEWS:
People who say it's not happening or it's natural, are just trying to censor the truth to protect their daily lives which involve contributing towards emissions and pollution.
It is happening and it's bad news, I'm quite glad that governments are waking up to it.
