This is a tricky question. It all depends on what is tying you to your current location. I live in an area that is not extremely developed and white collar professions are few and far between. I have seen many young men and women that I went to college with leave the area and metro and go south to larger cities or out east towards Virginia and government jobs. If you have family and friends in your current location, really consider that before you move. What is this company offering me that is so special that I cannot find around here. For example, if you make 28,000.00 now....and a company offers you only 35,000.00 to move...it is most likely not worth the move unless the job offered is exactly in every way what you always wanted...because.....up rooting your family and take in the fact cost of living, meeting new friends, finding a new house, selling your house, adjusting to new area..is very very stressful for most people that leave an area they grew up in or where there family lives. Depending there again on how attached to your family and friends you are. Consider how bad you want the job....then make them pay you as good as they can for it.....because you are the one that is going to benefit them in the move...remember that.....you are the key player....good luck my friend.....!!!

I think it depends on you. I moved 5 hours away and was gone 3 years and hated it. It wasn't home to me. I had to come back. You sacrifice your home (not just the building but you culture). If that is something you can give up, go for it. I personally won't be making that mistake again.

I would never give up my family. But if i was making a TON of money. I'd go as far as moving to another country, as long as i had the money to come back home as much as i wanted.

there is definitely no limit

some moved 100 milies, some 10,000 miles some 20,000 miles

there is also no limit of sacrifices
some pay with their souls
some with all their savings
some even borrow money

I would move accross the country, live in a homeless shelter, eat soup every day, and be a surf bum.

Would move about 12,500 miles. Would have to sacrifice present poverty.

why move at all unless there is something we don't know.
