I'm going to include Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, and a few others but I could use some help with bands/songs. Any thoughts would help. Thanks.

good idea for drokick murphys!! i could not do any st patrick feast without adding The Coors... they're so good!

i don't know the name of the singer, but there is a beautiful song, i shivered when i heard it the first time... it's called " balck is the colour", its just beautiful. i'll adviseyou as well :
"walking in the air" and "the last rose of summer" sung by Chloë Agnew
"Iain ghlinn' cuaich" by capercaillie
"ailein Quin" by Méav
"the lass of glenshee" by altan
"alasdair mbic cholla ghasqa" by capercaillie
"the ghost the hatchlings the long bow" by liz carrol
"she moved through the fair" Méav

well, that would be my selection for irish music, hope you'll enjoy them!
bye! sarah

and someone said that the song "Black is the Colour" is beautiful, well its an old Irish Traditional song, but GS does an absolutely amazingly beautiful tug at the heartstrings version on their third album Tree...
