have you paid with a check at target lately? do they run them like wal-mart does, where it comes out automatically, or the same as they used to?

it is usually difficult to pay with checks at stores like those, and you would be WAY better off paying with cash, or card for more expensive purchases. if you tried to pay with a check you could have complications.

I love Target!!! But don't know the answer to your question I always use my check card or pay cash.

They run there checks through the check system, so if you've ever been put in the check system from a bad check or for some reason from your bank, then you're on their don't accept checks list. It's verified by you ID #, or DL#.

Why not just use your debit card if you want to pay out of your checking account? It’s safe, easy and fast (purchases are protected just like with a credit card, if you choose credit instead of debit at the register.)

I use my cash card. I don't think I know anyone except for my mom who pays those places with check still.

I do! They have a lot of clearance which is great. But i wouldnt suggest that it has the best clothing. It's kinda cheap clothing. But good for other stuff too.

Some Targets are going to be different. No guarantees. Ask them before you shop. : )
