You can tuck used fabric softener sheets in pockets or between the folds. You can use talc or lavender sachets in your drawers or closet. You can spray garments with Fabreeze or Lysol fabric spray.

I use good quality fabric softner-use the max amount recommended. Also, dryer sheets are good. Put some dryer sheets in your dresser drawers among your clothes. Don't waste your money on generic softeners, the scent doesn't last nearly as long as Downy, snuggle, or bounce.

This works for me because I want my clothes & bedding to smell fresh for as long as possible. I use liquid Tide in my washer & I always use Downy, April Fresh scent. I dry my clothes in a dryer & they smell so good, even days later.

Do you use fabric softeners? I would recomend using Tide with scents and then buying the Downey fabric softeners with the same scent as the Tide. They have some really nice scents for both.

My mother always bought rose-scented guest soaps and tucked them into the corners of her bureau drawers. That helps a lot!
