I don't even live with them anymore and they want me to name it. I kinda like Achilles but I don't know. Suggestions please.

What I always did when naming a dog was look for characteristics or personality. For example, we brought home the nicest dog from the dog pound and the first thing she did was catch and eat a cricket. So, she was named "Cricket."
We had another dog named "hit by car", oh no that wasn't serious... please don't report me.
Achilles is a cracking name also.

Name him Kaju. Pronounced KAYGOO. It's Japanese for monster. My ex-husband and I couldn't figure out what to name our dog. We wanted something original. We looked up forein names becuase we couldn't figure out what kind of dog he was, but we knew he had huge paws. He was a stray and a mut. We took him to the vets and we thought he was 6 months old because of his size. We ended up finding out he was only 4 months old. We ended up spending our wedding money on a fence for him because we had the dog run hooked up to our house, and he ripped the siding off our house. He's over 100lbs now. I cut hair and I had Kaju's picture up at my station, and everyone loved his name.

Go with something totally original! Why not make up a name?
