Can you please brielfy explain your reason? I don't really like either because there is a lot of family politics. But I do enjoy the company of my husband's extended family.

I too prefer my husbands family to mine. There is too much drama and too many bad feelings to truly enjoy a family get together with either side of mine. Why do I want to spend time with people who will either: A. make me feel guilty for something or B. don't enjoy the same things as I do.
My hubby's family is fun, enjoy the same things, and generally have a good time together.

My parents have extended families. My dad's family is like a generation before me or something. My parent's have a huge age gap for ten odd years but that's another subject. I don't know my dad's family and his nephews and nieces already got kids etc. So they are kind of like my aunts and stuff so i don't really know anyone there except for one cousin who i have known for about six years but i haven't seen her for a while. At my dad's side some uncles have died and stuff so it isn't that extended anymore. He is almost my grandmother's age. My mom's side of the family is extended too. My sister got adopted and she really is the daughter of my mom's older sister, so that's why i have that huge connection because i grew up with her a little. I have also met most of my mom's siblings' children so that's how i kind of like them too because i know them and i keep in touch with them. They are liars and cheaters and what ever mean people they can be, but who cares? Family is family. Last Summer in AZ when i visited them we had a lot of arguments etc. We are kind of over it and they look forward to coming to the UK and maybe even live here..

HAVE A NICE DAY. I hope it's briefly explained.

I like both sides equally.

My mom has many brothers and sisters and they're all fun to be around

My dad only has one brother, but he's a riot, too.

My family is made up of funny people and I love them all.

Except my dad's mom, she's a mean bitter old woman. Dad was raised by his grandparents because his mom couldn't be bothered with raising her own children, so I really have no sympathy for her. She's alone in her old age by her own choosing.

My mom's side were all snobs, but I knew them much better than my dad's family, just because they were divorced when I was young. My dad's family is the greatest bunch of people, and I'm most like them, I'd say. I'm on a mission to (eventually) get to know them much better though. It's too bad my Dad recently passed away... R.I.P. Dad.....
My stepdad's family is a bunch of molesters. I'm scared of them. lol
My hubby's family is great southern folk. I enjoy the company of his mom more than my own mom! Sad... But true... lol

I don't know my dad's side of the family, which sucks because I'm supposed to have like thirty cousins I don't know about. Also, I hate my mom's side so freakin much so that must be my answer. Why do I hate them? They're all lyingass hypocrites, that's why.

I don't know my Dad's side. He was from "white trash" and kept us from them.

My Mom only had one brother and I live with him now. He is great even if he is a bit moody at times.

I really like my ex-husbands family. They are like real family to me too.

My dad's. My Mom's side never talked to us kids when we were younger. Whenever we had get togethers the adults were all in one room and us kids were all by ourselves in another. We never did anything together. Plus my Grandma was always complaining about how red my hair was. I wasn't about to dye it at the age of 10.

I like my dads side of the family better. Theyre just more loving people, I like their vibe. Oh and I happen to look more like them, also. I don't know how much that has to do with it though? :)

I like my dad's side of the family better, they're much more laid back and real than my mom's side.
