i am 13 weeks preg. and i have a very light liquid coming from my nipples and it smells icky is this normal?

yes later it will turn into milk for your baby.

Congrats you officially make milk :)
It's actually a pre-milk substance called colostrum. It's fantastic for your newborn. Celebrate your body is doing what it should!!
Oh and the smell, that won't last long, that is likely from old white blood cells that kept your milk glands healthy. If you get a fever though definately call your caregiver as you can get mastitis when you are pregnant.

i remember a little leakage. Yeah it's normal but have your doctor check it out, it could be infection if it's smelling too bad. I wouldnt worry too much but better safe than sorry right? CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK

yes its normal to have colostrum leak from your breasts...doesnt happen to everyone but it happens...if it smells i would go see the doctor as usually breast milk doesnt smell bad at all
