"Fresh to Def" It means that you'll fresh no matter what. Ok, it means you're looking your best no matter what is going on, where you are, whatever. Fresh to Death- the saying goes, "the main time you look your best is when you're dead (at your funeral)". So that's what the phrase means and that's wear it came from. You looking good alive always as you would when you're dead.
