is it just me who thinks the sizing system is really overcomplicated and misleading. for example, cant the back size just be the ACTUAL back size, not your back size plus 4/3 inches? and cant the cup size mean the same thing for every back size, why cant a 32c and a 34c be the same cup with a different back, as the size suggests??! in fact they use the same cup for for 32d, 34c, 36b etc its such a stupid system! it also means that saying 'i wear a c cup' or whatever is a completely meaningless statement because thats a different size for every backsize WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?

It's even worse than that. I've tried to find out how to size a bra properly - for band size, for instance. I've been told to measure under the breast and add (a) nothing, (b) 1 inch, (c) 2 inches, (d) an inch and a half and then to (a) round down or (b) round up to the next even number. Cup size is even stranger. If I followed all of those instructions, I'd have about six different bra sizes. *sigh*
Do guys have problems like this?

Because someone that is larger and in a 42D is way bigger than someone who is smaller and in a 34D. They measure the size around the back and then the size around the bust. what ever the difference is in inches is the cup size. If you are a 34 around the back and a 36 around the bust you are a 34B. that is definately not the same for someone who is a 42B. Hope i explained it well.

I think it's stupid. There shouldn't be math invovled in sizing. And most brands are built a little differently so I can wear an A, B, or C depending on what brand I'm buying. It's ridiculous. You should come up with a new sizing system and create a lingerie line. You can make millions.

If you want the right sized bra, you need to have the right sized fitting. Who knows why people size the bras the way they do? If you know what size you are it shouldn't be that complicated...
