Don't you wanna just LAUGH at all the fast food workers today?? I'm sorry but it is FUNNY to see an out of shape, toothless, uneducated fast food worker MESS up my order! I SAID NO PICKLES! What part of that don't these people understand? I find it hilarious and it makes me cherish my Master's degree.

Who else laughs at them?

Who cares? Many people with degrees eat at fast food workers.. who says I go there to eat? I just like to laugh at the overweight mama tryin to support her 4 kids. Hey, at least's management though, right? BWAHAHAHAHA

I am honestly SCARED of how these people handle my food... if, for the love of burgers, they don't understand NO PICKLES.. how would they understand anything else?!

Never ever look down on those who prepare your food for you, or anyone who does you a service. it's called customer service for a reason, and they can refuse to serve you. In your case, i would hope they refuse to serve you, because I dont want to know what else they're doing to your stuff. You know, if we didnt' have people who were willing to perform those services, then you with your almighty master's degree would have to do them instead. Are you saying that if there was no one to cook, prepare and serve your favorite fast foods that you'd do it yourself? Or that you'd order your own necessities and everything from the distributors or factories when you needed shampoo or shoes or cereal? I highly doubt it. Our consumer socciety demands that we have customer service positions and people to fill them. Also, most people dont actually -want- to work those positions and use them as a gateway job to bigger and better things. Customer service positions are great entry jobs as well. It's not hard for someone with no job experience to get a job in that industry, and sometimes the kind of people who you are describing, who you mock and look down upon are just the perfect person for the job. If you haven't seen it, I suggest watching the movie Waiting. I have known many people in the fast-food and restaurant industries and the stories i've heard about what they do to people like you are much much worse than that movie. Think about that the next time you order a burger with no pickles and your order is wrong.

No really....on the flip side I think it's you who wants to be laughed at. I worked at McDonald's to help put myself through college. It was a lot more demanding than it looked! Beside the fact that I was the one who worked hersellf to death so I would get scheduled in the morning ( those are the good hours in case you were wondering). My other co-workers were for the most part were hard workers, too. Once I got my degree, I brgan teaching at a Christian school. There was a high schooler there, and his mom worked management at a fast food place. She wasa mother that was doing her best to put her A+ boy through school. So next time pick a better group of people to laugh at!

I have my Master's degree and I don't laugh at them. When I was a baby my Dad (who also has a Master's degree) had to work in fast food.

Don't judge people so harshly because it will come back on you. I don't like it when they get my order wrong but I will go back and politely tell them their mistake and they will always correct it. No one's perfect and even if these workers aren't blessed with your "superior intelligence" it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt when they mess up. Besides that, in order to get respect you have to give it.

First of all I am going to say never underestimate fast food workers. I have been in the food industry (with a degree mind you) for 12 years. Now these uneducated individuals may even have a master's degree as well, drug addiction is a *****. Just remember that they are on the internet as well. happy eating next time........

ok working at a fast food place if far from easy.. and not all the workers are fat and out of shape and uneducated..
i think u should really try to work there and see how hard it is to deal with a jerk like u on the other side of the counter being a nasty mean person.. and see how the hell u would like it.. when someone is yelling at u ....

and on top of it all why the hell would anyone want to piss off a fast food employee.. don't u know what they can do to your food... HELLO ...

I'm really surprised someone so arrogant has a master's degree. You may have the book smarts but your people and life smarts are lacking. Why don't you go and work in the fast food business and lets see if you get every order right. Get over yourself.

Here is why I don't laugh. These poor wretches that you describe are only a snap away from going postal with the mop and bucket.
Really, most of the people I see working are kids in high school, and senior citizens who's retirement money has run out.

Wow, when you got your Master's Degree I am sure somewhere along the way you were taught the meaning of the work JERK. If not you might wanna go look in the mirror!! Some ppl don't have the opportunity to go to college and are doing their best to make ends meet and you should not put them down because of this. You know it would serve you right if you lost your job and couldn't find any work other than fast food!

Wow, arrogance in full flower. I don't believe you have a Master degree. Your quote, "Many people with degrees eat at fast food workers.. who says..... ". Get an education!
